This is the first post of 2018. May we all have a happy and prosperous new year !!! When blogging we tend to start off by having some resolutions in mind. Today with me it was not different but for one detail: Facebook brought up a memory of a blog post from january 2014. It's been some time since I last published here in this blog where everything started ... In the past years I've been very active teaching and that's where I get my inspiration to help develop course materials, blog and give online workshops. Real grounded teaching practice does make a difference because it enables us to have the necessary understanding of the classroom challenges and the creativity and flexibility to adjust accordingly. Great Apps to help you study !

Hi :) On the subject of using mobile technology to help us learn, I came across a very interesting article by Julie Halpert, with very positive findings about how to blend technology into the learning experience to add challenge and bolster achievement. This is called "blended learning". http://mashable.com/2012/08/12/tech-in-the-classroom/ Even though the article focuses mainly on children, children with special needs and how parents can make sure the school they choose is "tech savvy", it provided me with precious insights on how this approach can very well be applied to learning a foreign language and the different age ranges as well.
