Technology overload

Hi  :-)

Technology has been incorporated to our lives and is undoubtedly a great help in both our personal and professional lives.
Due to its fast advances, I see it as essential to keep informed and make use of the technological resources in order to be able to interact.
I myself have a great interest and make use of apps and devices throughout my day.
But being open-minded also means reflecting (even if quickly) upon the uses we have made out of them.
Worth watching.

Rescuing your purposes and resolutions

This is the first post of 2018. May we all have a happy and prosperous new year !!! When blogging we tend to start off by having some resolutions in mind. Today with me it was not different but for one detail: Facebook brought up a memory of a blog post from january 2014. At the doctor: Explaining symptoms

How to explain common symptoms at a doctor's office or E.R. ( Emergency Room ). There's an integration of video sitcom, audio recording of a doctor-patient typical dialogue and infographics for pair or group work activity and qr codes! Feel free to use everything as a class sequence or choose one of the activities to integrate with your class. This is very suitable for pre-intermediate levels and what I liked most is the fact that there is room for expanding on vocabulary and also having fun with the typical Friends jokes that come up.
